Solitario Spider is a card game from the Solitaire group. Like the other games in this group, it is designed for a single player (hence the Solitaire designation), although it can also be adapted to include more players.
In its traditional and most-played version, it uses two decks of 52 cards and two suits. The number of suits and decks may vary depending on the level of difficulty of the game. Regardless of this, the objective of the game is always the same. The player must build 8 Foundations by suits and in ascending order (Ace to King). The name of this game is precisely from these Foundations as they remind the legs of a spider.
In Spider Solitaire, the goal is to move all cards to the foundations, even those in the reserve deck.
Unlike other Solitaire games, it is not possible to move individual cards into foundations. The player must build the complete and suited sequences on the board and these will be automatically sent to those empty spaces and rearranged in ascending order.
The player wins the game when there are no more cards left on the table.
