Crescent Solitaire is a Solitaire card game that deviates from the typical layout found in these games. Like many members of this family, the players are expected to organize the cards into foundations in a specific order, which requires them to move the cards around the piles to get to the ones they need. All similarities, however, end here.
Crescent Solitaire is a simple game with simple rules, but it requires more strategy and planning ahead of time than most of its competitors.
In this game, the goal is to rearrange all of the cards in the piles into the eight foundations. Those beginning with the Kings must end with the Aces, while those beginning with the Aces must end with the Kings. The cards must always be arranged according to suit.
The cards in the piles can be moved around to place them on top of others of the same suit and rank. A 7 of Spades, for example, can beat either a 6 or an 8 of Spades.
The players are permitted to look at the card immediately beneath the one on top of each pile. In this online Solitaire game, players only need to drag the card slightly to the side to check the one beneath it.
Cards cannot be placed in empty piles. The players can choose between having 3, 6, or 9 shuffles available, depending on the level of difficulty they want to challenge.
